How do I search for recipes?

Use the search bar on the home screen. You can search by dish name (e.g., "jollof"), ingredient (e.g., "plantain"), or country (e.g., "Ethiopia"). Our smart search will find the best matches.

How do I save a recipe?

Tap the heart icon on any recipe card or recipe detail page. Saved recipes appear in your Favorites tab and are accessible offline.

How do I create a shopping list?

Open any recipe and tap "Add to Shopping List." The app will automatically add all ingredients. You can check items off as you shop.

Is the app available in my language?

The app is currently available in English, French, Swahili, and Arabic. More languages are coming soon.

How do I delete my account?

Visit the Delete Account page for instructions, or go to Settings → Account → Delete Account within the app. You can also email us at support@africancuisines.app.

Why am I seeing ads?

Ads help us keep the app free for everyone. They are served by Google AdMob. You can manage ad personalization in your device settings.

A recipe seems incorrect. How do I report it?

We appreciate your help in keeping recipes accurate! Email us at support@africancuisines.app with the recipe name and the issue you found.
